Robert L. Marshall, Jr. was born on January 26, 1984, in Silver Springs, Maryland, to the late Mechelle Gaines Highsmith and late Robert L Marshall Sr. After moving from Maryland, he attended Saint’s Assembly Seventh Day Church in Brent, Alabama. Robert enjoyed life; he was a fisherman at heart. His dream was to become a professional bass fisherman on day. Junior had a contagious smile with a wonderful sense of humor to match. He was always willing to help others when called upon. Most of ALL Junior Loved his Family and his dog Pooh. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mechelle Gaines Highsmith and Robert Marshall Sr. niece Tenyja Shanice Gaines, Grandparents Lovel Gaines, Sr and Gulla Gaines Sanders, uncle Lovel Gaines, Jr and Aunt Valerie Gaines Collins Robert leaves to cherish his memories: brother Antwone Gaines; niece Shayanne Gaines, nephew Antwone Gaines Jr; three aunts LaVern Chism (Jerome), Jackie James and Victoria Gaines; step grandfather Charles Sanders.
