CAHABA MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL: Announce with deepest sympathy the passing of Mr. Johnnie Williams of Birmingham, AL
JOHNNIE'S LIFE STORY: Mr. Johnnie L. Williams was born on April 25, 1962 to the late Houston and Stella Williams in West Blocton, Alabama. At an early age he confessed Christ and joined Antioch Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Mack. He was educated in the Bibb County School System. After graduating from Bibb County High School he joined the Job Corps in North Carolina. Johnnie worked for many years at various jobs such as U. S. Pipe for twenty years; Jim Walters Mine No. 4; and Mercedes Benz where he retired in July 2024. His hobbies included cooking, carpentry and fishing. On Wednesday, December 25, 2024 an angel came and carried him home. He was preceded in death by, his father, Houston Williams; one sister, Rosa Chism; and one brother, Henry Cutts. A life that has been lived with others in mind, touched many hearts and goes on forever in the memories left to be shared by: his loving mother, Stella Williams, one daughter, Ashley Williams whom he loved. one granddaughter, Angel Williams, one aunt, Iona Williams and host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2024, at 11:00 AM Mt. Ebell Baptist Church 200 Cooper Ave. Brent, Alabama 35034 Pastor Gregory B. Dumas, Officiating.
PUBLIC VIEWING: Friday, January 3, 2024, from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM at Cahaba Memorial Funeral Chapel.
BURIAL: Mt. Grove Cemetery West Blocton, Alabama
