OBITUARY Love O. C. Martin was born to the late Love Martin and Beatrice Lee Martin on January 16, 1932, in Perry County, Alabama.
He confessed Christ at an early age and united with Grace Emula Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois. Pastor Johnny Drummond was pastor.
Love O. C. Martin exchanged his earthly body for a heavenly one on Monday, February 18, 2019. Our family will always cherish his memories.
Love O. C. Martin was greeted in Heaven by his father and mother, five brothers, Roosevelt Martin, Clarence (Daisy, deceased) Martin, Peter Martin, Joseph Martin, and Jeff (Flora) Martin; daughter, Nita Landford; and grandson, Bobby Love Martin, Jr.
Love leaves to cherish a loving and devoted wife, Louise Martin; three sisters, Jean Morris, Martha James, and Margaret (Claude, deceased) Holmes, Reverend Dr. Jimmy (Annie) Martin; two sons, Love Martin, Jr., and Bobby Love (Jackie, deceased) Martin; daughters, Lynell (Jimmy) Dixon, April Martin, Lynette Woods, Kineta Jackson, and Lovone Rutledge; grandchildren, Pierre Dixon, Jaquel Martin, Sparkle Martin, Clerra Martin, Jazzmen Martin, Sky Martin, Jada Martin, and Janell Martin; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
