JOHNNY'S LIFE STORY: Brother Johnny Lavelle Huckleberry, affectionately known as “Hulk” was born to Sandra H. Harris and the late John Lee Huckleberry on June 9, 1976.
Early in life he confessed Christ and was baptized at Mt. Ebell Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend James Dumas. He remained a faithful
member until his death. He truly loved his Pastor and Church Family. He was educated in the Bibb County School System. He attended Stillman College and Shelton State Community
College. He drove tractor trailer trucks for many years and worked with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office/ He later became a companion-giver for Mr. Billy Thompson where a very special bond forms. He was a past member of masonic masonry. and Beta Phi Beta Brotherhood Fraternity. He was married to Mrs. Georgia Mack in earlier years,
to this union one child was born, Mrs. Jaliaya S. Robinson. He had a very special relationship with Ms. Antionette McIntosh, where one son was born, Karter Lavelle Huckleberry. He loved Jaliaya and Karter with all of his heart. On Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at the age of 49, God sent an angel to carry His servant home. He was preceded in death by his father and loving
grandparents. He leaves to forever cherish his memories: his loving mother, Sandra Harris of Brent, Alabama; two children, Jaliaya (Kenneth) Robinson of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and
Karter L. Huckleberry of Brent, Alabama; three brothers, Jonathan (Cassandra) Rutledge of McCalla, Alabama, Justin Price of Centreville, Alabama and John 'Ta McCoy of Toledo, Ohio; two grandchildren, Kharson and Kyndall Robinson of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; two special cousins, Pamela (Joseph) Griffin of Brent, Alabama and Jacqueline Sims of Brent, Alabama; four
aunts, Wanda (Curtis) Coleman and Lecia Huff of Youngstown, Ohio, Sarah A. Huckleberry and Kathleen Huckleberry of Centreville, Alabama; four uncles, Otis
Huff and Brisco Huff of Brent, Alabama, Edward Huckleberry and Howard Huckleberry of Centreville, Alabama and Jimmy L. Huckleberry of Louisville,
Kentucky; two special lifetime friends, Marquetta Whittly and Leigh Warren of Bessemer, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
