JEWELL'S LIFE STORY: Jewell Caddell, age 76 of Brent Alabama peacefully passed on Monday June 29, 2026. Born on July 23, 1949 to the late Lee Otis Caddell Sr. and Hattie
Caddell, she was a firecracker from the beginning. At an early age, Jewell was stricken with polio. While the illness altered the course of her physical life and
kept her from a traditional path, her spirit remained entirely untouched. Jewell was fierce with no filter. She possessed a colorful vocabulary and she spoke her mind with the
mouth of a sailor. She never left anyone guessing where they stood and lived her life entirely on her own terms. She loved her family and left an unforgettable mark on everyone who was blessed to know her. Her bold heart will be deeply missed by her surviving family, her son Rodney Caddell, his five
sons: Lorenzo, Ahmad, Roddrick, Jakaveion, and Takaveion, great grandson Logan, great granddaughter Malia, two sisters Gwenda Foster and Lottie Anderson, brother in-law Bobby Anderson and an host of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death
by her grandson, Rodney Caddell Jr., her sister Louise C. Steele, and her two brother Lee Otis Caddell Jr. and Willie Caddell.

PUBLIC VIEWING: Will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Cahaba Memorial Funeral Chapel Brent, AL 35034

FUNERAL SERVICE: Will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Cahaba Memorial Funeral Chapel 100 Patridge Street Brent, AL 35034

INTERMENT: Hopewell Cemetery
