LIFE STORY: Charles E. Maynor was born in West Blocton on February 26,1936 to the late Mr. Horace Maynor and Mrs. Millie Green Maynor.
He confessed Christ and joined the Mt Olive Baptist Church under the late Dr. W.S. Lewis. Charles passed away September 6, 2025, at Diversity Care Center in Bessemer, AL.
Charles E. Maynor was a devoted church member. He later became Deacon. He graduated from Bibb County Training School in 1954. He worked at Jones Foundry in Brimingham, Al.
Preceded him in death includes: His parents Mr. & Mrs. Horace Maynor. Alfonso Maynor, William Henry Maynor, Theodore Maynor, Monroe Maynor, Willard Maynor and Dorthy Ruthledge.
Cherishing his memories includes: Brother-in law Ervin Ruthledge “Jr.” of West Blocton, AL. Three nieces Sharon (Micheal) Floyd, of Winter Haven, FL, Nicole Rutledge of West Blocton, AL. Erica
Floyd of Tampa, FL. Cousins: Stella Maynor of Tuscaloosa, AL., Eddie Maynor of West Blocton, AL, Sheila Hamilton of Atlanta, GA, Carolyn Britton, Caria Green, Mickel Green of Miami, FL, Jackie Bryant, and Lisa Bryant of New York, NY.
PUBLIC VIEWING: Will be held Friday, September 12, 2025, at 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM at Cahaba Memorial Funeral Chapel 100 Patridge Brent, Al 35034
FUNERAL SERVICE: Will be held Saturday, 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 13, 2025,at 2 p.m. Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church 642 Frog Level Rd. West Blocton, AL 35184, Rev. Dr. Silas I. Baldwin, J.D. Pastor and Celebrant.
