CAHABA MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL: Announce with deepest sympathy the passing of Charisse Leverette on January 3, 2025
CHARISSE'S LIFE STORY:
Charisse Lanette Leverette was well known in her community for her fun, funny, and gift of comedy type of character to all that knew her. Charisse was raised in the church, gave her life to Christ as a little girl, by way of what we called, “the morning bench”. Charisse was baptized and was a member of New Mt. Pilgram Baptist Church, (until her death).
Charisse attended the Bibb County public school system, where she was a graduate in the class of 1995. Charisse was well known in her class because of her fun personality, she kept the crowd alive, and being in her presence you could always count on a good belly laugh; even when she didn’t feel good she still had jokes; laughter that you could count on anytime you were in her presence. Charisse will be missed by her kind and loving son, Jerrell Leverette, as well as her siblings and other family members.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Will be held on Saturday 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM, New Mt. Pilgram Baptist Church 51 Kings place Brent, AL 35034, Pastor Tracy Sanders, Eulogizing.
BURIAL: Perkins Cemetery in Brent, AL
