Randy Life Story: 

Brother Randy Leverette, Sr. was born in Brent, Alabama on December 5, 1966, to the late Catherine and Jonah Leverette, Sr. He confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of the New Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church until his death. Randy Leverette, Sr. graduated from Bibb County High School in May of 1985 He transitioned from this earthly presence to his heavenly reward on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the University of Alabama West Hospital in Bessemer, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jonah and Catherine Leverette; and a loving wife, Catherine Norris Leverette. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: a daughter, Raneetrah (Jarvius) Boykins; a son, Randy Leverette, Jr. of Brent, Alabama; two grandchildren, Braylen Jarvis and Aalliyah Boykins of Brent, Alabama; his siblings, James Lee (Mary) Jones of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jonah (Barbara) Leverette, Sammy (Wanda) Leverette, Danny (Rebecca) Leverette, Bertha Mae Dennis, Peggy Bradley of Brent, Alabama, Andy Leverette and DeWayne (Keshia) Leverette of Huntsville, Alabama; two aunts, Mattie Driver of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Parlee Ford of Birmingham, Alabama; two sisters-in -law, Sharon (John) Steele and Janelle (Anthony) Leverette; a host of loving relatives and friends. 

FUNERAL SERVICE: will be held at New Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church 51 King Place Brent, Alabama 35034, at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 27, 2024. Rev. Danny Leverette Pastor, Rev. Tracy Sanders, Officiating.
